Grünecker successful for Horl before the Hamburg Local Division

In first instance infringement proceedings for the client Horl 1993 GmbH, represented by UPC representatives Sebastian Ochs, Björn-Alexander Bockelmann (attorneys-at-law) and Christian Meisinger (patent attorney), the Hamburg Local Division decided that defendant Magna-Tec e.K. infringes our clients patent EP 4 117 857 B1. The defendant has the right to appeal the decision.

The patent-in-suit concerns a device for grinding and/or polishing a cutting edge of a cutting tool and a system comprising such device and a device for fixing the cutting edge of the cutting tool relative to the grinding disc during grinding and/or polishing.
