On the basis of bilateral agreements a “Patent Prosecution Highway” pilot program with Canada, Mexico, and Singapore shall start in 2015. Patent claims which have been found allowable by the EPO or from the patent offices of one of the respective states shall be granted quicker by the partner patent office. Already existing work results from the partner patent office shall be shared as much as possible to increase the effectivity of the patent system.
