Expertise

Benjamin Bauer represents our clients primarily in patent matters, particularly in energy, automation, and medical technology.

His services include drafting complex patent applications and the professional and efficient management of patent grant proceedings, including challenging appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office. Additional areas of expertise include the preparation of expert opinions and research on freedom to operate and patentability, as well as the analysis of competitors’ patent portfolios.

Benjamin studied energy and process engineering at the Technical University of Munich and the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. During his studies, he worked for several years at one of the largest German municipal utilities and service companies, where he gained extensive knowledge in energy technology, particularly energy supply. He gained additional professional experience as a development and calculation engineer in simulation and calculation services specialising in vehicle development.
