Expertise
Christine Neuhierl in particular practices trademark law. She advises clients on trademark design and conducts corresponding searches. Christine is responsible for trademark registrations, infringement proceedings, and licensing, and represents her clients before the GPTO, the EUIPO, the German courts, and the European Court of Justice.
She also advises on competition law issues and has pervasive expertise in registering abstract colour marks.
Christine’s client base is characterized by its size and diversity: She coordinates the worldwide trademark portfolio of a trading company specializing in tea and also files design patent applications for this company. She also supports a manufacturer of safety-related products for railroad infrastructure and the global trademark portfolio of a manufacturer of agricultural and municipal machinery, which she also supports in unfair competition matters. She also advises a family-owned company in the food industry on strategic issues of trademark protection and is the contact person for specific questions and tasks of pharmaceutical companies.
Christine is a member of INTA (International Trademark Association), the Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group (PTMG), and the German-Spanish Lawyers’ Association. She is involved in training prospective patent attorneys in trademark law.
