Denis Jurkin’s practice focuses on patent law, particularly in the fields of chemistry, battery and fuel cell technology, and food technology.

In addition to industrial chemistry, he also specialises in nuclear chemistry and battery and fuel cell technology. Denis can draw on his academic experience at the Chair of Radiochemistry at the Technical University of Munich.

Based on his many years of professional experience, he is a sought-after specialist for the drafting and defence of complex patent applications in the aforementioned technical fields, including opposition proceedings.

He also assists clients in the strategic development, management and implementation of patent portfolios. By assisting patent families with applications outside Europe, Denis Jurkin has gained a deep understanding of the particularities of grant procedures in many jurisdictions.
