Based on his technical training and expertise, Dietmar Kuhl primarily advises clients in the fields of electrical engineering, information technology, and medical technology. He also provides guidance to companies that offer products and services in the fields of e-mobility, automated learning, IoT, semiconductor manufacturing and circuits, vehicle electronics, and control systems.

Dietmar’s expertise also extends to license and employee invention law issues.

On behalf of his clients, he frequently evaluates intellectual property rights regarding infringement and legal validity and prepares the necessary expert opinions. A further focus of his advisory work is the enforcement of intellectual property rights before the competent litigation chambers of the civil courts, the filing of oppositions and nullity actions against intellectual property rights at the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Federal Patent Court and the European Patent Office and its Boards of Appeal.
