Emily Wilson specialises in guiding clients with the strategic organisation and enforcement of their IP portfolios in Germany, the EU and worldwide, through our network of local counsel.

Her advisory services range from the legal evaluation of searches to the preparation and execution of filing, objection, and opposition proceedings and the defence of IP rights against infringements. Drafting coexistence and licence agreements is also part of her daily practice.

Emily provides customised advice tailored to her client’s individual interests, needs and budgets. With extensive expertise in anti-counterfeiting and parallel imports, Emily’s clients rely on her to provide clear strategic advice to achieve the best possible results.

She is a native English speaker who has lived in Germany since 2009 and works in the Munich office. She began her legal career as a paralegal at Grünecker and has been an attorney for the firm since 2019. Her unique blend of language skills and cultural understanding adds an extra layer of insight to her services.

Her clients include a wide range of companies, from well-known international corporations to dynamic start-ups in various industries. Her industry focus includes the technology, software, gaming, fashion, luxury goods and pharmaceutical industries as well as smart device and medical device manufacturers.

Emily actively contributes to the development of intellectual property law through her membership of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and her involvement in their Parallel Imports Committee.
