Expertise

Gabriele Weidenhiller specialises in patent law and is particularly active in chemistry and the interfaces between chemistry, process engineering, and physics.

She focuses on inorganic and technical chemistry, including large-scale processes for the production of basic chemical substances, carbon blacks, detergents, and bleaching agents, as well as special fields of application of these chemical substances.

Gabriele has been regularly involved in complex opposition proceedings for more than 25 years and regularly appears before the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office.

She has extensive experience developing strategies for a series of oppositions and other parallel proceedings, always in close cooperation with her clients’ patent departments.
