Gerd Petzoldt practises patent law and specialises in physics, mechanical engineering, medical technology, semiconductor technology, and computer-implemented inventions.

Thanks to his many years of research work at the Technical University of Munich and various other research institutions, he has a broad technical knowledge, which makes him a sought-after expert.

Gerd has extensive experience drafting patent and utility model applications and conducting grant proceedings before the European and German Patent Offices.

He regularly participates in complex opposition and appeal proceedings, prepares expert opinions on questions of validity and infringement, and accompanies the corresponding proceedings.

Gerd is a member of EPI and DPG.
