Jens Christian Koch’s practice focuses on patent law, particularly in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, marine technology, aviation and civil engineering.
He has represented leading companies worldwide for decades, with a focus on Japan. Jens is regularly involved in complex opposition, nullity and patent infringement proceedings. He regularly appears before the Boards of Appeal, the Federal Patent Court, the Federal Supreme Court (BGH) and the Patent Litigation Chambers.
As a long-standing advisor to leading patent applicants worldwide, he has extensive experience in portfolio management, inventor law issues and strategies for obtaining efficient cross-border patent protection.
