Expertise

Markus Röder primarily advises on registering and enforcing industrial property rights, focusing on trademarks, designs, and copyrights. He is also active in competition and advertising law.

Markus specialises in product piracy, protection against counterfeiting, and border seizures. He places a strong emphasis on securing rights in litigation proceedings and developing out-of-court solutions.

His advisory portfolio also includes handling worldwide trademark applications, as well as cancellation and invalidity proceedings before the DPMA and EUIPO.

In addition to major international corporations, Markus advises medium-sized companies. He advises clients across all sectors, particularly luxury goods, fashion, consumer goods, automotive and mechanical engineering, consumer electronics, medical devices, technology, and new media.
