Michael Döring has extensive experience drafting intricate patent applications, managing their prosecution before relevant authorities (EPO, GPTO, WIPO), securing grants, and defending against potential challenges from third parties. Collaborating with international counterparts, Michael consistently oversees his clients’ global patent protection. Conducting patent infringement searches and assessing infringement issues are integral to his practice as is the challenging of third-party protection rights.

Additionally, Michael focuses on safeguarding design protection rights. He regularly devises tailored strategies for new design applications and global design portfolios, prioritising resilience and protection scope.

Acknowledging the diverse requirements of various authorities, he navigates granting procedures both domestically and internationally (EUIPO, WIPO, GPTO, and beyond), alongside conducting searches for design protection rights and evaluating design infringements.
