Björn-Alexander advises his extensive national and international clientele, including medium-sized companies and global corporations, primarily in patent and utility model infringement proceedings.

He has been involved in many multinational patent infringement proceedings in various branches of technology, which were litigated in parallel in several jurisdictions. He therefore has profound expertise in the field of cross-border patent litigation, in particular relating to the US.

Björn-Alexander’s pronounced technical understanding allows him to articulate complex technical matters effectively during contentious proceedings. Moreover, he leverages his pertinent experience in FRAND and SEP cases, both in out-of-court license negotiations and contentious proceedings.

Providing clients with strategic guidance in negotiating license and non-disclosure agreements is also integral to his daily practice.

He was among the first to file an infringement action before the newly opened Unified Patent Court (UPC) as part of the Grünecker team.

Björn-Alexander is a member of the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
