Expertise
As a French and European patent attorney, Julie Monteil is experienced in the entire patent prosecution process from drafting and examination to opposition proceedings before the French Patent Office (INPI) and the European Patent Office (EPO).
Her expertise further includes patent clearance analysis and invalidity opinions for French especially in cross-border cases.
Julie is involved in patent invalidity and patent infringement proceedings in France and is qualified for the Unified Patent Court (UPC). She attended the “Patent Litigation in Europe” diploma of CEIPI (Center for International Intellectual Property Studies).
Before joining Grünecker, Julie demonstrated her technical skills and her understanding of the business landscape in a worldwide Tier-1 automotive technology supplier and a leading aircraft manufacturer.
Julie is a member of EPI and CNCPI (Compagnie Nationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle).
